sco_result (*hold)(sco_plugin* self, uint32_t milliseconds);
Refresh the owned hold lease for 1..1000 milliseconds from the latest game tick. No drive or any block refuses holding. Expiry is serviced by the next game tick.

OK, BAD_ARG invalid/released self or bounds, WRONG_THREAD, UNAVAILABLE absent bridge/drive/offline admission/stopped session, NOT_FOUND non-owner hold/release, FAILED competing owner or restart-required fault.

Default game.quantum.control is false; mutation unavailable until a verified engine bridge exists.

Game pack owns one bounded controller lease and hooks; output copied to caller. No allocation or engine pointer transfer.

Game thread only; WRONG_THREAD before state access. No recursive calls during bridge operations.

No plugin callback.

Recursive bridge calls refused with FAILED.

Release cancels hold; disable/unload clears ownership; tick expires hold or cancels on lost admission. Stop withdraws and rolls back owned hooks. Uncertain bridge cleanup retains backing state/hooks and requires restart.

Status labels are copied verbatim from the catalogue: direct is native access; typed-wrapper is wrapper-backed; restricted is a subset/adaptation; unsupported means no supported route is established. No status implies universal safety.
